The 15103068 Paint Grade Pocket Door Jamb Kit offers a quick and easy way to finish Pocket Door Frames without the need to rip special thickness stock. Simply cut to length and install this primed kit, which is ready for painting. Suitable for 49/16'' walls, it fits 1 3/8'' doors up to 3'0'' x 6'8''. The package includes 5 boards: two split header boards, two split jamb boards, and a strike jamb board. Please note that casing is not included due to the wide variety available.

Made from finger joint pine that is primed for paint (1510) or stain grade pine (1511), the 1510/1511 Jamb Kits are designed for 4-9/16" (116mm) jambs and 1-3/8" (35mm) door sizes up to 3'0" (914mm) X 6'8" (2,032mm). These universal kits should fit most pocket door frames and are perfect for use with the Johnson 1500 Pocket Door Frame.

To install the Jamb Kit, follow these instructions: 1. Install the Pocket Door Frame and measure height "A" to cut the Strike Jamb to the correct length. 2. Cut the split jambs to length "B" and fasten to the front edge of the frame, ensuring clearance on both sides of the door. 3. Shim and plumb the strike jamb with the door. 4. Cut the split headers to length "C" and fasten them to the frame. Maintain clearance on each side of the door. 5. Secure the bottom door guides to ensure the door stays in the center of the pocket. 6. Finish by adding your choice of casings (not included).
